This project will investigate functional MRI (fMRI) and/or diffusion MRI (dMRI) changes across the lifespan using open access datasets.
The primary job duties for the field research assistant (Research Assistant 3) will include acquiring, processing/cleaning, and inspecting the data, programming code that will manipulate and analyze the data using primarily Python and R with some potential for MATLAB usage, literature review, and (if time allows) drafting of a manuscript.
The successful candidate will work with, and directly report to, Dr. Josh Neudorf at СÓÅÊÓƵ. Dr. Neudorf will provide adequate training for preprocessing and inspecting the data, programming, literature review, and manuscript writing that will be required.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in neuroscience, psychology, or relevant field required. Experience working with fMRI and/or dMRI data, computer programming, and manuscript writing required.
The student will gain unique experience working with open access MRI data, will gain 1-on-1 instruction on how to use programming to manipulate these data, and experience contributing to a research manuscript.
