Student finance funding criteria

It is important to note that simply maintaining program status does NOT meet the requirements established by the Student Finance Board for full-time funding purposes. For example, to comply with Alberta Student Finance Board requirements, full-time graduate students must be enrolled in one grouped-study course over a four-month period. Extensions are not considered in the calculation of full-time or part-time status.

It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that he/she follows the financial assistance guidelines as outlined by the Student Finance Board in the province in which he or she resides. The contract dates of six months for a 3 credit course will be reduced to a four month contract for full-time СÓÅÊÓƵ students receiving financial aid in order to meet the full-time enrollment requirement for graduate students.
